Scientific and professional Training and Accreditation in Counselling for Personnel from Educational, Health Care Institutions and Industries NGO s Social Workers, Individuals interested in setting up a freelance practice. After training and certification, the Counsellors can work in or with instituitions.
Counselling Course Outline

Module 1- Barefoot Counsellor	Introduction to Counselling Philosophy and Approaches	Basic Communication, Contracting and Self-Reflection	6 months
Module 2- Apprentice Counsellor	Learning & Practising Counselling Techniques and Skills	Sensitivity to Self and Others.	6 months
Module 3 - Professional Counsellor	Consolidation of Skills and Development of a personal Counselling Philosophy	Flexibility in Problem Solving and in facilitating movement in the counselee.	6 months
Please Note: Evaluation is an ongoing process built into the training at each level. Nitya Gurukula reserves the right to interview and select suitable candidates for the Counselling Course. Suitability is based on criteria decided by Nitya Gurukula The duration of each level is 6months, 6 hrs a month, totalling up to 40 hours. Extra Supervision hours for counselling practice at each level will be negotiated based on the Trainees requirements.
